About Our Training Program

Sacred Seeds Yoga School is compelled to transmit the ancient teachings of yoga to the student seeking personal growth and continued education in your yogic path. We strive to provide a comprehensive and potent program that includes holistic, scientific and kinesthetic learning. Our goal is to provide you with technical and inspirational tools to thrive in your personal practice (sadhana) as well as confidently teach others how to heal from stress and thrive in their everyday lives!

Holli’s passion is teaching others how to find their own inner teacher and then giving them the tools to spread that to their communities. For four years now she's dedicated her life to this process and to guiding students to becoming leaders in yoga!

Jen Van-Achteren

Jen trained in yoga back in 1995, but never followed through with her training and her calling to be a teacher, until returning to training in 2017 with Holli and SSYS. She's now dived deeply into her studies and teaching, becoming a stake-holder in Bija and now shadowing Holli in SSYS 2019 to help others become teachers.

Devi Leela

Having 4 years experience in an ashram in India studying Satyananda style, Leela specializes in Mantra, Meditation, Kirtan, Yoga Nidra and gentle Asana. She teaches these in our program as well as mentoring students to teach the same. She's dedicated to deep and sustainable growth through yoga!

Lyndel Dean

500 HR RYT

 

Lyndel trained in Ashtanga with one of the great yogis masters, Patabhi Jois. She’s a licensed Pycho-therapist and teaches our Ashtanga Sequencing, Psychology of Yoga Seminar and gives one-on-one mentorship. Her aim is to transmit the teachings from her teachers and to help create positive change as this is what she received from yoga.

Pema Choo

Pema began her teacher journey training in Purna Yoga which gave her a high level of understanding of the body and anatomy. She will be teaching our anatomy portion, active inversions, and providing one-on-one mentorship. By becoming a co-owner in Bija she has dedicate her life to creating a meaningful and sustainable yoga community in Hobart.
