Bija Yoga’s Response to Covid-19
In line with the recommendations from Yoga Alliance and a number of medical professionals, we have decided to shut the doors on in-person classes for one month. We'll reassess the situation week by week.
However, we are taking our regular classes online! So please keep an eye on our website and Facebook page our online classes!
At Bija Yoga Tasmania, we believe anyone can do yoga, but not everyone needs the same kind of yoga.
This is why we provide an intimate space with personal care that supports diversity.
As part of this vision we offer FREE 45 minute one-one consultations for all new students
to our centre who are Hobart residents.
We welcome all levels of experience in yoga and have a variety of styles to cater to many needs.

Having started my yoga journey as a teenager, I returned to my practice years later after having spent too many years in my head using my intellect and forgetting to connect with my body, breath and spirit.
I am excited to share with others what I have learnt through my relationship with yoga including the many physical, emotional and spiritual benefits.
I began practicing yoga without knowing it was yoga. As a teenager I used it to cope with major trauma in my life, I started stretching and breathing alone in my room. This was incredibly powerful, innate and healing. I'm absolutely in love with my work, and I have a hunger to continue to learn this never-ending practice as well as continue growing what and how I teach. Every time I step into our centre I'm so grateful for the space and for the beings I meet. Jai!
